EDU-102 - Teaching in an Inclusive Classroom EDU-102 - Teaching in an Inclusive Classroom 3 credits This introductory course explores the foundations and practices of inclusive education in today’s diverse classrooms, pre-K-12. Students will examine the principles of inclusion and equity, with a focus on meeting the academic and social-emotional needs of all learners, including those with disabilities, English language learners, and students from varied cultural backgrounds. Emphasis will be placed on designing instruction using Universal Design for Learning (UDL), differentiating strategies, and analyzing real-world case studies. Through hands-on projects and collaborative learning, students will begin developing the skills needed to create supportive, engaging, and accessible classroom environments for every student. 10 hours of fieldwork experience is required.
