ENG-232 - Female Characters in Modern Texts ENG-232 - Female Characters in Modern Texts 3 credits The evolution of the female character as depicted throughout history will be explored in this course. Readings will include fictional works by female and male authors who illuminate the role of women from a variety of social, economic, and cultural perspectives. Novels, short stories, poems, fairy tales, and films will comprise the genres used to trace the female experience. Mass Transfer Gen Ed Foundation: Credits earned in this course are counted towards the Mass Transfer Gen Ed Foundation’s Humanities and Fine Arts requirements.
