The Advanced Fire Investigation deals with the history, development, and philosophy of fire investigation and detection. Topics will include inspection techniques, evidence gathering and development of technical reports, fundamentals of arson investigation, processing criminal evidence, and criminal procedures related to various state and local statutes.
