LAN-235 - Digital Design Graphics LAN-235 - Digital Design Graphics 2 credits An introductory course using Computer Aided Drawing and Design (CADD) techniques to digitally represent landscape design concepts and landscape construction drawing details. Students will learn to digitally represent landscape designs and construction details with technologies used by many of today’s professional landscape design and construction businesses. AutoCAD, Sketchup, and Illustrator design programs will form the basis for the course. CADD software is a critical tool used for creating 3-D digital models, plans, and construction drawings. Like many other forms of digitalized media; CADD tools provide an avenue for sharing information using the Internet, e-mail attachments, and specialized CADD reader software. Students will also be introduced to the hybrid graphic techniques of enhancing digitally prepared drawings with hand rendered effects. For those wishing to gain, or improve upon their CADD skills and proficiency in digital design graphics, this course will you reach your goals. Corequisite(s): LAN-235L
