LAW-214 - Business Law Essentials LAW-214 - Business Law Essentials 3 credits The primary purpose of this course is to the student develop an understanding of the legal environment as it affects businesses and business transactions and to provide the student with the critical thinking skills needed to make sound business decisions. The course will deal with such areas as our legal system, contracts and sales, business forms and formation, torts, property rights and the employment relationship.
