RDG-113 - Equipment Operation and Maintenance RDG-113 - Equipment Operation and Maintenance 2 credits This course introduces the principles of medical imaging with emphasis on basic radiation safety practices, the components of radiographic imaging equipment, how x-rays are produced and the selection of exposure factors. Additional concepts covered include automatic exposure control, radiographic grids, and mathematical principles related to dose and exposure. Lab sessions provide students with hands-on practice of the concept presented in class. Corequisite(s): RDG 113L Course previously known as: RADG-212 and RDG-110
