SPN-102 - Elementary Spanish 2 SPN-102 - Elementary Spanish 2 3 credits This is a continuation of Elementary Spanish 1, with emphasis on the four basic skills necessary for the mastery of a foreign language: listening, speaking, reading and writing. More sophisticated grammatical and linguistic concepts are introduced and discussed, using the Spanish language as a tool for communication. Students gain the know- ledge of the contemporary thought of Hispanics in the United States and in the Hispanic world. Intense oral drills and practical vocabulary. Mass Transfer Gen Ed Foundation: Credits earned in this course are counted towards the Mass Transfer Gen Ed Foundation’s Humanities and Fine Arts requirements. Course previously known as: SPAN-221
