ENGL091 — Foundational Writing Studio 1
Practice of grammatically correct American English sentence structure, paragraph organization and development, and standard modes of college writing. Prewriting, drafting, reflecting, responding, revising, and basic self-editing. Students compose short multi-paragraph texts and conduct a modest research project with guidance from their instructor and support staff to familiarize themselves with the foundations of researched writing. This is a college readiness course, but it does not fulfill college writing requirements.
