Middle School Science Education
The Middle School Science Education program prepares students to teach middle school science in the state of Minnesota, including chemistry, earth and space science, life science, and physical science. The major fulfills the coursework required by the Minnesota Department of Education to receive a Grades 5-8 science teaching license for the state of Minnesota. The coursework includes courses in biology, chemistry, physics, earth and space, astronomy, professional education pedagogy, and science methods.
