Asian Pacific American Studies
The Ethnic Studies, Asian Pacific American Studies Minor is designed for students who wish to focus their studies on the diverse social, historical, and cultural experiences of the various Asian Pacific American (APA) groups residing in the United States. All of the core (9 credits) and elective (9 credits) courses in this program are so targeted as to highlight the central issues which confront Asian Pacific American communities, and will consider such phenomena as transnational movements, representation in popular culture, gender roles, and the important contributions of people of Asian Pacific ancestry.
