Elementary/K-6 Education

The elementary/K-6 education program prepares students to be kindergarten to grade 6 (K-6) teachers. Teacher candidates learn to teach all required subject areas to young children. They learn to plan lessons and projects designed to motivate and challenge students, as well as to counsel students and work with families.
