II Managerial This course addresses managerial accounting concepts which are necessary for decision-making, performance evaluation, planning, and control. Emphasis is placed on using accounting data as a tool to enhance the information’s usefulness to the firm’s management. The course deals with corporate equity, the management cycle, product costing methods and standards, responsibility accounting and segment analysis, budgeting, cost-behaviors, activity-based systems, statement analysis, and preparation of the statement of cash flow. Quantitative methods necessary for managerial accounting will be emphasized. Prerequisite: ACCT101 Prerequisite: ACCT 101 (Grade of C or better)
