COMM 230 - Crit. Analy. & Survey of Cinema COMM 230 - Crit. Analy. & Survey of Cinema This course will explore the film genres, film terms, and styles by examining the racially, ethnically, culturally and sexually diverse themes of producers and directors throughout the world. The course also will provide a historical survey of the cinema. Emphasis will be on writing critical pieces that demonstrate knowledge of aesthetic principles and culturally diverse themes as they apply to film as an art form.
