ENGR222 — Engineering Dynamics

3 credits · 3 hours

ENGR 222 - Engineering Dynamics ENGR 222 - Engineering Dynamics A study of the motion of bodies without reference to the forces; which cause the motion and the action of forces acting on the bodies and their resulting motions. Rectilinear and curvilinear motion in two and three dimensions using rectangular, normal/tangential and polar coordinate systems are investigated in kinematics. Kinetics includes discussions on work, potential and kinetic energy. Impulse and momentum are analyzed from Newton’s second law along with the concepts of conservation of energy and momentum.
