HORT 107 - Introduction to Turf HORT 107 - Introduction to Turf This course prepares students with the knowledge and skills to identify turfgrass, common turf pests and associated weeds. Students will receive a solid introduction to the science of turfgrass, soil testing and renovation practices. Field trips combined with experiential activities on the SCCC main campus sports fields along with class discussions on new topics in turf create a comprehensive learning environment for students.
