HUMS 170 - Intro. to Gerontology HUMS 170 - Intro. to Gerontology This course introduces the student to a range of topics relevant to working directly with the elderly population, including the changing roles of older adults in post-industrial societies, the human services needs of older adults, community resources for older adults, issues involved in working with families and caregivers, and knowledge of adult developmental processes.
