HUMS 203 - Human Behavior in the Social Environment: Diversity HUMS 203 - Human Behavior in the Social Environment: Diversity This course explores the interaction between the individual and the social environment. Emphasis is placed on effects of and responses to varying forms of prejudice and discrimination. Additionally, issues of race/ethnicity, socio-economic class, gender and sexual orientation are examined as they impact upon direct practice in the social work field. Prerequisite: HUMS101, PSYC101
