FIRS 1074 — Rescue Boat Operator
This course will prepare the student to effectively and safely maintain, transport, and operate both human and motor-powered watercraft during flood and swiftwater rescue situations. This course is specifically designed for participants who wish to receive job performance requirements (JPR) that are set forth by the National Fire Protection Association (NFPA) 1006 and 1670 as well to gain knowledge in water dynamics and hydraulics encountered in hazardous conditions, and self-rescue techniques. 3.2 CEUs.
