ANTH 106 — Introduction to Anthropological Linguistics Units: 3

This introductory course is designed to teach the basic concepts and methods of linguistic anthropology. Topics include language change, variation, acquisition, socialization, world view and how language is used to create and recognize differences along the lines of age, gender, race/ethnicity, class, and sexual preference.
