EMS 217 — Field Internship for the Paramedic Units: 4-8

This course is designed to introduce the Paramedic student to the advanced life support prehospital operations. The student will also become familiar with procedures and care provided by paramedics in the field, and will be a third person on a paramedic rescue unit and will work directly with his or her paramedic preceptor. This course satisfies 30 embedded hours toward specified programs and certificates for AAS Human Relations General Education requirements.
