FT 115 — Crew Boss, S-230 Units: 1
This course introduces students to the skills needed to perform as a Crew Boss (Single Resource), qualified under the standards of the National Wildfire Coordinating Group (NWCG). The course emphasizes leadership, tactical decision-making, crew deployment, operational planning, and administrative duties required to supervise a wildland fire crew safely and effectively. Upon successful completion, students will receive NWCG S-230 Crew Boss certification, qualifying them for increased responsibility within incident management organizations.
