Consideration will be given primarily to the pathogenic microorganisms, including bacteria, viruses, and protozoa. Emphasis will be placed on nomenclature of organisms, their associated diseases, and related terminology. It is highly recommended that students complete BIOL 1114 - General Biology for Non-Majors (L) or BIOL 1314 - Human Anatomy and Physiology before enrolling in this course. Includes lab component.
