SPAN 1103 - Elementary Spanish I Add to Catalog Favorites SPAN 1103 - Elementary Spanish I This introductory course develops fundamental proficiency in understanding, speaking, reading, and writing Spanish, while also providing an overview of key aspects of Hispanic culture. Active participation in conversations during class and/or through the World Languages Lab is expected. Students with prior Spanish experience are encouraged to ask their advisor about the CLEP or departmental placement exam to determine eligibility for credit and placement into a higher-level course. Self-paced laboratory is required. Semester all, Spring, Summer
