This course develops increased proficiency in understanding, speaking, reading, and writing Spanish, while continuing the exploration of significant aspects of Hispanic culture. Active participation in conversations during class and/or through the World Languages Lab is expected. Students with prior Spanish experience are encouraged to ask their advisor about the CLEP or departmental placement exam to determine eligibility for credit and placement into a higher-level course.
