It will increase vocabulary needed to interpret for Spanish-speaking patients by using vocabulary related to illness and symptoms, necessary medical language, and cultural cues. Oral fluency in English and native/near-native fluency in Spanish is recommended. Students with advanced language experience are encouraged to take the CLEP exam to satisfy Semester all, Spring
