AMT A205L — Airframe Mechanics Laboratory 2 Credits
Practical application of the fundamentals of metallic and non-metallic structures, flight controls, airframe inspection, and the following systems: landing gear, hydraulic and pneumatic, environmental, aircraft instrument, communications, light signals, and runway lighting, aircraft fuel, aircraft electrical, ice and rain control, airframe fire protection, water and waste, and rotorcraft fundamentals. Prepares students for the FAA Mechanics Airframe Oral and Practical Exam. Registration Restrictions: Completed Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) Form 8610-2, Airman Certificate and/or Rating Application signed in block V by FAA Airworthiness Inspector, or instructor approval
