ASTR A103 — Solar System Astronomy 3 Credits

Introduction to solar system astronomy; emphasis on most recent results from solar system exploration missions. Topics include changes of the sky (seasons, motion of the sky, phases of the moon, planetary motion) and physical properties of the sun, planets, moons, comets, and solar system evolution. Registration Restrictions: High school algebra or equivalent.
