BA A202 — Alaska Native Organizations 3 Credits
Provides an overview of the Alaska Native Claims Settlement Act (ANCSA) and amendments. Introduces Alaska Native-focused organizations, including health organizations, regional corporations, village corporations, Community Development Quota (CDQ) groups, nonprofit economic development organizations, tribes, etc. Includes insights into organizational missions, goal-setting strategies, and management approaches. Special Note: It is recommended that students complete a 100-level WRTG course with a minimum grade of C before registering for this course.
