COHI A655 — Interdisciplinary Approaches to FASD: Best Practices in Alaska 3 Credits
Introduces competencies on Fetal Alcohol Spectrum Disorder (FASD) including: prevention strategies, alcohol use disorders and current strategies for FASD-related risk identification/screening, diagnosis, and treatment across the lifespan. Supplements the discipline-specific knowledge of health programs and aims to prepare students as interdisciplinary health care professionals in caring for individuals who experience FASD. Registration Restrictions: Graduate standing or instructor approval.
