CSD A295 — Speech-Language Pathology Assistant Practicum 1-6 Credits
Supervised clinical experience in health care, clinic, agency or school settings. Addresses development of clinical skills, including professionalism, screening, implementation of prescribed therapy plans, data recording and documentation within the scope of practice as an SLPA. Emphasis on developing competencies for ethical and effective Speech-Language Pathology Assistant practice. Special Note: A total of 6 credits must be completed in at least two different clinical settings to meet the major requirements of the Associate of Applied Science in Speech-Language Pathology Assistant.
