Applies effective methods to build and strengthen young children’s problem-solving and reasoning processes. Develops strategies to teach developmental progressions for geometry, measurement, algebraic thinking, statistics, data science, and probability. Creates meaningful learning experiences for young children connecting informal and formal mathematical knowledge with their cultural, linguistic, home, and community experiences.
