EDSE A612 — Curriculum and Strategies I: Low Incidence 3 Credits
Development, implementation and evaluation of IEPs for students with intensive needs (e.g., autism, multiple disabilities, physical disabilities). Provides in-depth understanding of evidence-based practices for supporting students with low incidence disabilities. Emphasizes inclusive educational settings and collaborative skills needed to work effectively with parents and other professionals to provide a comprehensive inclusive program to students with intensive needs. Special Note: Course includes 15 hours of field experience. Registration Restrictions: Graduate standing and departmental approval.
