Incorporates behavioral and social science concepts in analyzing a variety of public health issues nationally, in Alaska and the circumpolar north. Presents how socioeconomic status, culture, race/ethnicity, age, and gender relate to health and disease outcomes and quality of life. Provides knowledge on health promotion and disease prevention interventions. Registration Restrictions: Admission to MPH program or faculty permission.
