HS A626 — Principles of Epidemiology 3 Credits
Presents the study of patterns of disease and injury in human populations and the application of this study to the control of health problems. Introduces students to the basic principles and study designs of epidemiology. Covers the application of epidemiologic methods to the understanding of the occurrence and control of conditions such as infectious and chronic diseases, psychological and behavioral disorders, community and environmental health hazards, accidents, and genetic conditions. Registration Restrictions: Graduate standing or instructor permission.
