HUMS A441 — Intersectionality - An Approach to Cultural Practice 3 Credits
Presents the concept of a culturally attuned practitioner, acknowledging the pain of oppression and coming from a place of not knowing. Provides students with the principles of multiracial cultural attunement: critical multiraciality, intersectionality, and social constructivism. Presents theories of racism and oppression as well as theories consistent with cultural attunement.
