JUST A110 — Introduction to Criminal Justice 3 Credits

Surveys philosophies, functions and methods of social control with emphasis on the role of law and those involved in its administration--police, courts, and corrections organizations. Includes study of history, organization, processes, and problems related to law and justice agencies in a heterogeneous, democratic society. Special Note: This course is a prerequisite to most Justice courses.
