MUS A315 — Jazz Theory I 3 Credits

Detailed study of jazz using modulation, sequence, transposition, arranging, and voicing through analysis and dictation. Course is adapted to individual students on keyboard or other instruments. Registration Restrictions: Ability to read music, theory background, basic ability on an instrument.
