MUS A421 — Music in the Baroque Period 3 Credits

Musical style from 1600 to 1750. In-depth study of keyboard music, opera, oratorio and cantata, and instrumental music. Requires intensive listening and reading of music. Special Note: BA music majors must first pass MUS 154 and the functional piano exam by jury before enrolling in this course.
