NDT A201 — Penetrant Testing Level Two 3 Credits
Prepares students for the "American Society for Nondestructive Testing (ASNT) SNT-TC-1A" Level II code examination for penetrant testing (PT). Expands on knowledge achieved in NDT A102 , further explains principles and theories associated with penetrant inspection methods, and introduces the ultra-violet (fluorescent) method of PT. Administers the general, practical, and specific code exams once ASNT classroom hour requirements have been met. Provides hands-on training.
