NURS A250L — Psychiatric Nursing Laboratory 1 Credit
Provides clinical experiences in care of the inpatient and outpatient psychiatric patients. Focuses on the application of nursing process and adapting communication strategies to facilitate therapeutic interventions with patients who are experiencing mental health needs across the health-illness continuum and at varying developmental stages (Maslow's Hierarchy of Needs is used in prioritizing nursing care).
