PHAR A105 — Pharmacology for Technicians I 3 Credits
Introduces drug terms, definitions, origins and uses with an emphasis on factors affecting drug actions and adverse reactions. Provides overview of pharmacology, pharmacodynamics and pharmacokinetics. Focuses on respiratory, gastrointestinal, urinary, cardiovascular, recombinant and nutritional drugs, as well as vaccines and vitamins. Special Note: This is one part of a two course sequence. Courses can be taken independently of each other.
