PMED A263 — Paramedicine III 6 Credits
Presents the knowledge for paramedic practice, including patient assessments, anatomy and physiology, pathophysiology and pharmacology of a patient suffering from different trauma complaints. Students will learn to formulate patient impressions and implement treatment plans for special populations and will incorporate training in EMS operations. Special Note: Students must have the strength to be able to move victims, sufficient vision and hearing to assess the patient's condition, and dexterity to perform the skills application procedures.
