PSY A623Y — Strategies and Interventions: Preschool Special Education 3 Credits
Provides a critical study and application of best practices in evidence-based intervention strategies for preschool-aged children with disabilities, developmental delays or those at-risk for delays. Focuses on inclusive practices, tiered instructional approaches, and the application of routines-based and activity-based intervention in preschool settings. Special Note: This course requires 15 hours of field experience and may require a background check.
