PSY A663 — Academic Supports and Interventions 3 Credits

Prepares school psychologists to collaborate with families, teachers, and others to design, implement, and evaluate evidence-based academic interventions that take into account the biological, cultural, and social influences on academic skills. Focuses on the design, implementation, and evaluation of culturally relevant instructional accommodations, modifications, and interventions within a multitiered system of supports (MTSS) to promote successful academic outcomes. Special Note: Requires a 15-hour field placement. Registration Restrictions: Graduate standing
