PSY A695B — Applied Clinical Skills Practicum 3 Credits

Provides arranged, advanced experiential learning experience in a supervised setting that provides behavior analytic, psychological, or social services. Focus on development of skills for the professional behavior analyst including professionalism, communication, and basic ethics for helping professionals. Students are expected to complete 90 hours of supervised experience in a behavior analytic setting with supervision by a licensed behavior analyst or other relevant supervisor available on-site. Emphasizes hands-on experience with assessment, designing and implementing treatment plans, and supervision of direct support workers. Special Note: May be repeated twice for credit. Meets Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) program requirement for supervised experiential learning requirement.
