SURG A160L — Fundamentals of Surgical Technology Laboratory 4 Credits

Provides hands-on learning of the principles of asepsis, sterile technique, sterilization, and identification and experiential learning of instruments and equipment required in the surgery setting. Engages in learning to provide care to the patient including pharmacology and anesthesia during the preoperative, intraoperative, and postoperative stages.
