SURG A220 — Surgical Procedures II 2 Credits
Provides the theory of common surgical procedures that include otorhinolaryngologic surgery, oral and maxillofacial surgery, plastic and reconstructive surgery, cardiothoracic surgery, peripheral vascular surgery and neurological surgery performed in the operating room by body system with emphasis on knowledge acquisition. Includes surgical anatomy, instrumentation, and pharmacology. Special Note: This course is a continuation of Surgical Procedures I. Registration Restrictions: Department approval
