Examines factors that influence the physical and mental health of immigrants and refugees, such as culture, language, home country experiences, exposure, transit, resettlement experiences, immigration policies, and political landscape. Reviews cases and refugee health profiles to build evidence-based practice skills to meet the health and social needs of immigrants and refugees in Alaska.
