SWK A440 — Social Work Practice in Mental Health and Addictions 3 Credits
Preparation for work in a variety of social service settings in which clients may be coping with problems related to mental disorders and/or addiction. A research based analysis of addictions and mental disorders as they are manifested independently and in combination; and the impact of those disorders upon clients involved in a variety of service systems such as child welfare, corrections, and domestic violence. Registration Restrictions: Junior or senior standing. Consent of instructor.
