SWK A635 — Transformational Leadership Capstone 3 Credits

MSW students demonstrate Advanced Generalist (AG) autonomous practice, leadership, creativity, and innovation by developing and implementing a capstone leadership project in which they identify and respond to a complex, multidimensional practice issue of significant importance in Alaska. Students will demonstrate the advanced generalist competencies by providing social work leadership, advancing innovation within social service systems or organizations, and engaging in community collaboration. The course builds on the content in SWK A634 Transformational Leadership in Social Work Practice. Registration Restrictions: Graduate standing and admission to the Master of Social Work with advanced standing or successful completion of the generalist curriculum
